November 2020 – SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT

Scottish ClubSport and member Sports Councils are fully committed to safeguarding, promoting and supporting the protection and wellbeing of all children and young people in our care.  We recognise our responsibility to promote safe practice and to protect children and young people from harm, abuse and exploitation. Employees and volunteers will work together to embrace difference and diversity and respect the rights of children and young people. For the purposes of this statement a child and young person is recognised as someone under the age of 18 years.
