East Fife Sports Council was delighted to award funding to three of its member organisations at the end of 2018. The first went to Howe of Fife Rugby Club for their fantastic new project “Fife Clan: There is a place for Everyone at Howe of Fife – Bringing Unified Rugby to Fife”. The Clan will encourage new players to join the club and train, play and socialise there regardless of age, gender, sexuality or disability. The funding will help promote the new project and will attempt to alleviate ‘limiting assumptions’ that deter participants from taking part. It will also ne used for taster courses for local disability groups in conjunction with Trust Rugby International. The committee with them all the very best with their new project.
