East Fife Sports Council was delighted to support Elie & Earlsferry Sailing Club with funding.
The club has evolved over recent years into a watersports club with three sections: sailing,
power boating and coastal rowing. The sailing section sail in keelboats and sailing dinghies,
teaming up with other Scottish sailing clubs for sailing weekends and racing events,
including regattas. The power boaters enjoy exploring many locations on the Firth of Forth
and have a yearly dash to Anstruther for fish and chips. The coastal rowing section is the
newest and most active section – rowing to St Monans for tea and tarts is a favourite. 2019
also saw a new youth section formed. The funding will be used to replace and expand safety
equipment. The EFSC wish the club all the very best going forward as it continues to grow
