East Fife Sports Council is delighted to support Cupar Bowling Club with funding. The club was
instituted in 1756, with the present green being opened in 1892. It is a small but very friendly club
with a mixed membership of around 30. The club is proud to offer an equal opportunities policy with
membership open to all and it takes part in local friendlies, county and Scottish competitions.
Members were recently delighted to have been awarded “Activity Provider” status through Club
Fife’s Accreditation scheme and have signed up for the Bowls Scotland “Thank you frontline
workers” campaign. The club facility re-opened on 1 August 2020 after C-19 lockdown and the
funding will be used towards buying new mats and jacks for the new season. The EFSC committee
wish the club well in getting back to bowls in the new year.
